THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS TODAY!!!

They were SO felt!

The transition from the birthmother to us was the absolute most painful experience in my life...I can't understand how such joy can be birthed from such sorrow! Her whole family (mom, dad, bros and sis) were there and they were all in tears! But it was obvious that they knew that they were doing the right thing.

He is SO BEAUTIFUL!! And SO good! He doesn't fuss...except when he's hungry or undressed...

Alex walked up to him tonight when he got home from being with our friends...and came over to me and saw him with us for the first time and said "I love him!!! He's so SWEET!!!" Then he helped me feed him!

I am attaching some images from tonight...he is such a doll...we have to go to the ped. on Friday for a checkup...and please continue to pray that the birthmother has peace and doesn't change her mind.

Thank you for your prayers!

Love,
Lori (Jody and Alex, oh, and Nathan!)

P.S. It's snowing!!!

Here we are!

Your prayers are working! I spoke with the grandmother again a few minutes ago and she told me that she was feeling better!

Keep up the prayers for the mother!!

Love,
Lori
Dear friends and family,

We have felt your prayers! God has given us peace and we have enjoyed being
with this precious biological family. The baby is doing great and is very
alert and obviously as brillant as his older brother.

But we are needing MUCH PRAYER right now!!

I talked to the grandmother this AM and the mother is having a hard time
this morning emotionally. Understandably so, today is the day that the baby
comes home from the hospital with us. Both the grandmother and mother both
needs LOTS OF PRAYER. I know you guys will pray!

We also need much prayer that she will not change her mind over the next 13
days! This will be an important bonding time for me and the baby and I pray
that nothing changes that! It is SO hard to have so much joy in my heart
for us and yet at the same time hurt SO much for this precious woman. She
loves this baby so much and knows that she can't possibly care for
him....but I don't want emotions to get in the way of the facts.

Please continue to pray for peace of mind for all involved and especially
for the transfer this evening around 6pm to be smooth and easy for all
involved. Please also pray that over the next days and weeks that the
birthmother will find comfort in the Lord and that her family and friends
will totally support her in this!

We thank each and every one of you for your continued prayers and know that
you will be praying!

We love you!

Lori (Jody and Alex)

I will be sure to right more later, we are getting ready to go to the hospital....

He was born at 7:51pm and was 6lbs, 11 ounces...and TINY!!!! SO PRECIOUS!

I am attaching a picture and will email more later!

Love,
Jody, Lori, and Alex!
We got a call about an hour and a half ago that the birthmother is in labor
with our soon to be son. We are frantically packing and trying to get to
the airport.

PLEASE, PLEASE be in prayer that there will not be an issue with us getting
on a plane (we are flying space available on Delta) and that the birthmother
will have a slow easy labor and that we will make it there in time. PLEASE
also be praying that God would move on our behalf in dealing with the
birthfather. The birthmother is claiming to not know where he is or how to
get in contact with him and he NEEDS to sign the surrender so that we will
not have any problems later....!!!!

We are so excited and nervous and are waiting to hear from the grandmother
to see how things are progressing.

Thank you and we covet your prayers!

Love,
Lori, Jody and Alex Gragg

Hi Guys!

Please forgive this email if you have already heard the news...

Jody, Alex and I have an announcement! We are expecting again!!

There is a young lady in Ohio that is a friend of a friend who is placing
her child with us for adoption! We got the news about 2 weeks ago, and we
are expecting a baby boy that is due to enter this world on February 10th!
Jody, Alex and I will travel to Ohio as soon as we hear that the birthmother
has gone into labor.

God has miraculously provided for this adoption! Not only have we been
given plane tickets, but we have a place to stay (with a friend) and an
attorney who has graciously offered to barter her services for
photography!!! God is SO good! This adoption legal process started out
costing us an estimated $6000, and now we are looking at only $2000! Praise
the Lord!

Please be in prayer for us as we begin this adventure with a new little one.

1. For peace of mind for the birthmother and her family.
2. For a safe and quick delivery (not too quick, though, we would like to
get there before he is born!)
3. For travel mercies and mercies with both the courts in Georgia and Ohio.
4. For emotional, physical, and spiritual strength for us as we enter in to
parenting and caring for a new little life.
5. And most of all, for God to get the glory through all of this.

I will write about the whole experience, tell the whole story and send out
an email with photographs as soon after we get him as possible!

We look forward to introducing the newest Gragg member to you!!

Much Love,
Lori, Jody and Alex

P.S. We are naming him Nathaniel Alan Gragg
